Qualifications:
1. Must be of junior or senior level standing in the B.Sc. Chemistry program .
2. Must have good scholastic performance from AY 2021-2022.
3. Must not belong to Brackets C, D, or E of the the UP Socialized Tuition System.
4. Must not have been subject of any disciplinary action.

Benefits:
PhP 25,000 per semester. No liquidation required.

Requirements:
1. Signed letter of request to the Director of the Institute of Chemistry, Dr. Len Herald V. Lim
2. Recommendation letter from instructor or thesis adviser.

Francisco and Anastasia Razon Stipend Scholarship

The UP Alumni Association in America, Inc. (UPAAA), through the Institute of Chemistry and the UP Chemistry Alumni Foundation, Inc. (UPCAF), is looking for the first recipient of the FRANCISCO AND ANASTASIA RAZON STIPEND SCHOLARSHIP.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a Filipino citizen and enrolled as a freshman in the Institute of Chemistry.
2. Must be financially needy (proof will be required).
3. Must consent to receive communication from the UPAAA.
Benefits:
Stipend of $500 (divided into 5 months) per semester until finishing the degree
Applicants must submit a letter with photograph and contact details addressed to the Director of the Institute of Chemistry, Dr. Len Herald V. Lim.
Applicants will be interviewed by the award committee.

EFFECTIVE 1ST SEMESTER, AY 2016-2017 

PROF. VICTORIA D. REIDENBACH SCHOLARSHIP

An applicant for the grant must be a first year student enrolled in the BS Chemistry program; must have passed the UPCAT; must carry a load of at least 15 units every semester BENEFITS: Actual interest earnings of the funds but not to exceed P10,000 per semester. Application forms are available from the Office of Scholarships and Student Services, Room 302, Vinzons Hall. Deadline of Submission of Application : December 22, 2016. 

REBISCO FOUNDATION’S FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR TERTIARY EDUCATION (FATE)

An applicant for the grant must be a must be a bona fide sophomore/junior student enrolled in Business Administration, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering; must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P500,000); must have obtained a cumulative grade point average of not lower than 85% or (its equivalent to “2.09” UP grading system) or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “inc” in the semester immediately preceding the application; must be a natural born Filipino citizen; must not be a recipient of any scholarship of financial assistance; must be physically fit as evidenced by a Medical Certificate from UP Health Service; must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant; and must not have been held liable in any disciplinary action. BENEFITS: 1. School fees not exceeding – P30,000/sem. 2.Monthly stipend at P3,000 x 5 months – P15,000/sem.

ANGELO KING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATES

One slot  for undergraduate BS Chemistry freshman to senior; for higher years (2nd year and up): GWA better than 2.5; no grade of "5" nor "4" nor "INC". Apply through: Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) in Vinzon's Hall. Benefits: school fees as assessed not exceeding PhP 5,000 per semester, book allowance: PhP 500 per semester, stipend: PhP 1,300 per month. Renewability:renewable per semester, same conditions apply.

CONG. REYNALDO A. CALALAY SCHOLARSHIP

An applicant for the grant must be bona fide freshman students who are residents of District I of Quezon City; must have passed the UPCAT; must be enrolled in any four-or five year course in UP Diliman; must be a Filipino Citizen; must be a full-time student and must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award; must be financially deserving (STFAP Bracket & or lower); must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on-campus or off-campus. 

JOSE MARIA AND AMPARO V. BARCELON SCHOLARSHIP GRANT IN CHEMISTRY

An applicant for the grant must be a bona fide freshman student of the University of the Philippines in Diliman; must be financially needy; a student is financially needy if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP bracket 7 or lower; must have qualified for admission in the Chemistry program; must not be enjoying any other scholarship or financial assistance; must not have been subject to disciplinary action.

LIBERATA SAMONTE VDA. DE REYES SCHOLARSHIP

An applicant for the grant must be bona fide BS Chemistry or BS Biology students of the University; if entering freshman, must have a general weighted average of at least 85% in high school; if already enrolled, must have an average of at least “2.5” or better during the immediately preceding semester with no grade of “4.00” or “INC”; must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower.

MEGAWORLD LEADERSHIP GRANT

An applicant for the scholarship must be a Filipino citizen; must not be a recipient of any scholarship grant except the University’s scholarship program; must have no derogatory record; must be recommended by the school’s Office of Admission and Scholarship; must pass a screening to be conducted by the Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Committee; must hold outstanding academic records and top positions in official UP organizations.

PROF. SALUSTIANO G. TENGONCIANG SCHOLARSHIP

An applicant for the grand must be bona fide junior or senior student in the BS Chemistry program; must be Filipino citizen; must carry at least 15 units and must have passed all subjects in the semester immediately preceding the application; must be of good moral character; must be financially deserving (parents annual gross income does not exceed P180,000.00); must not be found guilty of violation of any of the rules and regulations of the University.
