The Institute of Chemistry (IChem) is one of the degree-granting units of the College of Science at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and was designated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence in Chemistry and Chemical Education encompassing teaching, research and extension services. It is the training ground for the country’s top chemists, consistently besting other universities in the annual Chemistry licensure examinations.
